We are thinking of the family as the journey towards justice continues.
Sheku died after being restrained by police officers in 2015 in Scotland.

The second ‘To Catch a Copper’ is out tonight, at 9pm, on Ch 4.
A straight no chaser episode proving snide cowardly coppers cannot be policed by their colleagues.
Covering racism, without the usual copaganda, it’s another tough but mandatory watch.
🏴4 people die in custody or state settings every week in Scotland
244 people in total in the year researched:
⚫️144 detained mental health patients
⚫️39 in police custody
⚫️38 in prison
⚫️& more across other settings
Yet inquiries are taking 2+ years.
Important research ⬇️
I spoke to Glasgow Uni researchers ahead of the launch of their report – Nothing to See Here? - about deaths in state custody and care.
They found about four people died a week. https://t.co/Hl2unRRIIv
Would @PoliceScotland care to comment on the imposition of this undertaking condition prohibiting attendance at any ‘pro-Palestinian march’? We shall be seeking immediate removal of this dangerous and excessive attack on the fundamental human right to protest in a democracy.
Fantastic outcome for our client who was charged as a result of their involvement in the Kenmure Street protest. Acquitted of all charges after an 8 day trial conducted by our Erin Monaghan, the Sheriff noting that NONE of the police officers were credible or reliable witnesses.
Today a coroner will deliver his verdict at the Inquest of #AishaCleary, a baby girl found dead in a prison cell. Her teenage mother had been ignored for 12 hrs and had to cut the umbilical cord with her teeth.

Soon realising they did not in fact have reason to - in their own words - “persecute” an innocent community campaigner as they had intended, the officers instead paid the tenant a visit, outnumbered him, threatened his tenancy and with it his young family…
🚨Political policing thread:
When we launched this peaceful, tenant-led occupation in January, @PoliceScotland officers began colluding with @WheatleyHousing officers to surveil organised tenants and threaten eviction…
