I'm about to turn 27 and I was contemplating who I am/ what I want to become so I present my quick list of 27 ideas I believe in, in no particular order

- It’s never too late to start anything.
- People who believe in you are 1000x more valuable than flashy people who don’t.
- Your body usually knows before your brain admits it.
- “In human affairs of danger and delicacy successful conclusion is sharply limited by hurry. So often men trip by being in a rush.” Stop rushing.
- Checklists keep you sane.
- Money isn’t shallow, it represents freedom.
- Following excitement is the most important thing you can do. It will never lead you astray.
- A life without integrity is a life where you can’t trust yourself. If you don’t have yourself, who do you have?
- For the most part, people’s values don’t change. When they show you who they are, listen.
- Sometimes you have to lie in a dark room and reset. Never ignore this feeling.
- Keeping your body healthy and eating clean will improve your life instantly by at least 80%.
- You can be noble enough. Stop trying to be perfect. It’s self-absorbed.
- Purpose is not found by thinking about it forever. It is built by following the next interesting thing.
- Having and living around nice things does matter. Buy the nice bag. Upgrade your duvet. It’s auspicious.
- Girls aren’t going to automatically be nice to you because you’re a girl. I know, shocker.
- “No live organism can continue for long to exist sanely under conditions of absolute reality; even larks and katydids are supposed, by some, to dream.” Being “realistic” is holding you back. Dream, it’s necessary.
- Reading classic literature keeps you grounded.
- Stop worrying. If something bad is going to happen, don’t suffer twice.
- Engineering taught me that nobody knows what they’re doing, and the person willing to be open-minded and put in the work will win.
- Content creation taught me the same thing.
- Starting over almost always creates a bigger life. It never subtracts.
- Beauty matters because it changes how life feels, and how you feel is everything.
- Consistency always beats talent.
- Do not assume the outcome of anything. You can’t possibly imagine the best-case scenario, and the worst case rarely happens.
- Your standards are not the problem. Your self-abandonment is.
- Curiosity will make your life bigger. Learn how everything works.
- The life you want requires structure, but not a cage.
