One of my favorite parts of the GTA6 launch trailer?

They brought back veteran announcer Jeff Berlin to voice the title, same guy who did GTA4 and 5.

What an amazing two decade legacy.

Kingdom Hearts is amongst the worst video games I've ever reached end credits in.

No other video game has been hyped up more over my life than Kingdom Hearts.

Telling me you think it holds up well tells me your focus on is nostalgia slop and not actual competent game design.

I think I’ll submit myself next year because that made me as old as the hills…

After 16 years, Super Mario Galaxy 2's Metacritic Score updated, raising it from 97 to 98.

This now makes it the 3rd best reviewed game of all-time and the best reviewed video game of the 2000s.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 turns 10 years old today. It’s undoubtedly one of the best games Nintendo has ever made.

In the decade since it’s release, no other video game has received a 𝘩𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘦𝘳 Metascore and User Score on Metacritic.

“Harold & Kumar 4” is on the way with original stars Kal Penn and John Cho eyed to return, says franchise producer Greg Shapiro.

"We’re working on the screenplay right now for the next ‘Harold & Kumar’ movie, but everybody’s back, the actors, the writers … the writers are directing, and hopefully we should be shooting it soon, you know, they’re just … it’s like any movie, it all has to come together in the right way.”

Really sour note to fire practically half of id Software the very day before you release a new Doom DLC.

[John Linneman @dark1x]

This year really feels like the end for traditional gaming. Consoles less affordable, layoffs galore and now physical media on PlayStation is dead. Really hard to feel any excitement for any new consoles given this - I'm sure plenty of you don't care, but it matters a lot to me.

[MVG @ModernVintageG]

This is much sooner than I expected and a blow for those who prefer physical. Entitlement, not real ownership is here to stay.

Super Mario 64 released 30 years ago today.

[Eric Inzunza @NotRealEric]

Super Mario 64 is one of my favorite video games of all time.

One of my earliest memories was visiting family in Mexico for Christmas and seeing it for the first time.

25+ years later, I just discovered my mom recorded that first reaction. Instant favorite video ever.
