@PandaTVoce And you were forced by the developers to read the quests, so you actually knew the lore - whereas now that’s no longer the case, and instead there are just complaints about "bad Retail WoW"
@DATGUYCOOP It’s much easier to kill off characters than to continue developing their arcs, because that requires writing their story further—showing how they live with the consequences of their own actions.
@andrees_joseph @kalivitality I took screenshots of the quests that are currently available. One of them takes a couple of minutes to complete, the other up to 10.
But gold is the problem 😁
@KirTyun@Gingitv Shadowguard's Operation Interrupted – just kill the mobs. Takes at most 10 minutes.
Useful Scrap Located – collect 6 pieces lying on the surface. Takes a couple of minutes.
And killing the boss – depends on how quickly the group forms, but some people can also solo it.
@Wowhead One quest in The War Within gives between 800 and 1000 gold. Completing a quest takes at most 15 minutes. Over an entire season (a few months), you’ll need around 10k–20k at most.
But people are acting hysterical, as if the cost were in the hundreds of thousands of gold.
@Wowhead You can farm enough gold in just a few hours of world quests to fund a full season of upgrades.
And that’s without even counting profession mats, scrap, and random gear drops from mobs.

@RealSolaroid@MJColeman_3394@joshuagrant@allyparser They used to criticize the attunement system in Burning Crusade, but when the system was simplified in Wrath of the Lich King, the WoW community started saying that Lich King had become too casual and that the game was dying overall 🤣
@RealSolaroid@MJColeman_3394@joshuagrant@allyparser I’m old enough to remember how people were getting triggered over the Horde getting paladins or the Alliance getting shamans, because it supposedly “ruined the lore.” The same arguments were made about flying in The Burning Crusade. And the list goes on.
