Kicked off the 2025 shooting season this weekend with a PRS match at Riverbend Gun Club! This year, I’ll be taking on the physically demanding Proving Grounds match, the NRL Hunter series, and several exciting team matches. Sniper, PRS, and 3-Gun competitions will also be major highlights of the season.
Once again, I’ll be relying on the incredibly reliable and accurate @SeekinsOfficial rifles paired with @VortexOptics , with @Eberlestock as my pack of choice.
Looking forward to hitting the road with the usual crew—Michael Berger, Mark Leeber, Patrick Beckham, and Dave Durand Gaucher. Here’s to an epic 2025!

Gear can make or break a successful hunt, and I've found the best of the best. My go-to setup: the @SeekinsOfficial Element Rifle with the @VortexOptics Razor LHT scope and a KGM Technologies R30k suppressor. For hauling extra essentials, I rely on @Eberlestock packs. These products are top-tier from true industry leaders.

Hey @FedEx this is a long way from the porch like the delivery instructions indicated. You put it exposed to the rain and next to the rain gutter to insure it got wet. STOP BEING LAZY AND DO YOUR DAMN JOB!!
Excited to dive into the NRL Hunter competition next season! I’ll be competing with the Havak PH2 NRL from @SeekinsOfficial , which was purpose-built for this challenge. It comes equipped with their proprietary IRAS rail and a Trigger Tech diamond trigger. I’m pairing it with a @VortexOptics Razor LHT 4.5-22 scope, a @kgmtechnologies 6.5K suppressor, and will be testing out the @shooters_global SG Pulse electronic level indicator. Time to zero it and start the fun!

The Henry Big Boy Lever Action rifle with the Ruger Vaquero revolver to honor this date in Old West history when Morgan Earp was born in 1854 in Pella, Marian County, Iowa to Nicholas Earp and his second wife, Virginia Anne Cooksey. He served as a deputy marshal under Charlie Basset in Dodge City before moving to Arizona where along with brother, Wyatt, worked as shotgun messenger for the Wells Fargo company, and deputy sheriff of Pima County and deputy marshal in Tombstone. This photo of Morgan was taken around 1881 in Tombstone, before the famous gunfight at the OK Corral. Morgan was shot and killed on March 18, 1882 at the age of 30.

I have been working with the new @kgmtechnologies R556A1 suppressor at the range for that last couple of months on a wide range of systems. It is a compact and lighter design that really helps with the balance of the rifle. This weekend I was able to finally put it through hard work and conditions during the Riverbend Gun Club Run N Gun and it performed great. The lighter weight paid off as we navigated very difficult terrain but it did not sacrifice any performance. My host platform was the @SeekinsOfficial NX15 with a 16” barrel. The accuracy and consistency was spot on with excellent sound reduction. For those that are looking for additional sound reduction the new R555A2 would be an excellent choice. I am running their suppressors on my gassers, my bolt rifle and my precision rifle. The quality and performance out of the entire line of suppressors from KGM is some of the best in the industry.

Well the folks at the Riverbend Run N Gun really raised the bar from previous ones. Six stages over about 5 miles with tons of crazy steep hills in between made it a very challenging match especially with a broken toe. Walls, creeks, weighted sleds, kettle bells and targets out to almost 600 yards were all present and accounted for. My failed attempt at a shortcut quick exit out of a creek sent me tumbling back down into the creek for refreshing cold plunge. My heart rate averaged 122 and hit a high of 152. After finishing it was clear that my match shirt of choice was on point.
The @SeekinsOfficial NX15 with the new @kgmtechnologies R556A1 suppressor and @VortexOptics 1-8 Strike Eagle scope ran great all day even after their mud bath and cold plunge with solid hits all the way to 600 yards

Back from a week of training at Hat Creek Training. Targets ranged from 375 yards out to just under 1500 yards out ranging in size 12” circles, half torsos and full IPSC’s. We shot angles from +30 degrees to -15 degrees in 20+ MPH winds. Lots of lessons were learned and tons of fun were had. I had a great partner for the week. @johnny_utah_816 making those wind calls and corrections kept me on target. Bryan and his team of instructors were phenomenal in pushing us to evolve and grow as a shooter both in skill and knowledge. Momma Misty took care of all the little details that made experience one of a kind.
The @SeekinsOfficial HIT rifle with the @VortexOptics Razor 6-36 scope and KGM Technologies R65 suppressor ran flawlessly all week.

Had a chance to do some work with the Sig Sauer MPX-K recently. It’s a fun little platform. It is super compact but still very functional and easy to run. This one was setup with the @holosunoptics HE510C with a green reticle and an added finger stop which is really needed with as short as it is. Your hand is very close to the muzzle so I am not sure why Sig wouldn’t include a finger stop as part of the design/package. One of the first things that jumped out at me was the smoothness of the trigger. The piston system made it very soft with minimal muzzle rise. We didn’t put a lot of rounds through but what we did ran well.
