@takethatdoc@morganjeffery@AnthonyTeasdale I’ve only heard a couple of episodes of Cabin Pressure. I’m from the UK but been in Australia 20+years so come across things like Bleak Expectations randomly when BBC Sounds allows. I’ll make an effort to find it and have a listen now. Thanks 🙏
@anon_opin For some people maybe. I live 1:15hrs outside of Sydney in a beachside village. I had to live there because it was the only place I could afford. The commute is worth it 3 x a week. Coming home on a Thursday evening, swapping the city for my own piece of paradise, is worth it.

Being a child of the UK 90’s rave scene, I also loved The Prodigy. It took me years to find out that the track sampled on 3 Kilo’s was Bernard’s “Good Livin’ (Good Lovin’)”. Got admit Liam knew his funk samples!
At the risk of getting super nerdy, I once wrote to the saxophonist Bennie Wallace re the soundtrack to White Men Can”t jump. Specifically about the music to the final showdown game. The wrote back with the session players:….
