Israel's B'Tselem reports that Israel has now killed more than 1,000 Palestinians in the West Bank since October 2023 – quite separately from the mass slaughter in Gaza.
217 were children.
B'Tselem says: "The situation in the West Bank is deteriorating by the day and will only worsen, because there is no internal or external mechanism to restrain Israel or stop its ongoing policy of ethnic cleansing."
In just the last 72 hours in Gaza:
- A Palestinian girl shot by an Israeli sniper while playing on the beach.
- A baby lying beside his amputated leg.
- A girl begging her dead father to wake up.
- Countless charred bodies pulled from rubble.
Hell on earth.

Those supporting genocidal Israel as it expands its slaughter should stop insulting everyone’s intelligence by pretending they care about Iranians.
White supremacy really doesn't change much over the years and remains, through its main iterations, not just morally abhorrent but deeply deeply stupid. Flypaper for a certain kind of mediocre mind with a lot of intellectual vanity.
Ignore or immediately block the science-denying trolls, promote the work of those telling the truth about our great predicament, remember that you are not alone: in fact, most of the world is with you. The botswarm might seem huge, but it's entirely bought, and entirely fake.
The massive swarm of fake accounts attacking climate scientists and activists is a recent phenomenon on Twitter, enabled by its emuskulation.
It's psychological warfare, whose purpose to demoralise us, isolate us and drive us away. We will not succumb. To speak out is to resist.
"I am not angry because the submarine was badly-made. I am angry because I live in a vastly larger pressure vessel being managed and maintained by the exact same people."
"a perfect microcosm of the problem with everything right now."

5 people, paying 250k to travel in an unsafe vessel to a dangerous place.
500 people, in an unsafe vessel, trying desperately to get to a safe place.
Why do some people feel such a connection with the first group, but not the second?
When I hear men worshipping guns and talking about how there’s nothing that will stop them from defending their family, my mind goes to Naaman in the Bible. Do you remember Naaman? He was a great military leader, and he also had leprosy.

I was in Huwara yesterday with @btselem to meet with Palestinian families who were attacked, homes and property burned, and livelihoods destroyed by Israeli settlers in the Feb 26 pogrom, not far from where this attack occurred. A few thoughts. https://t.co/HZGemLCIyu
