I live in upper Lynn Valley on the NORTH SHORE and my 3-year-old and I freaked out because to be honest it sounded like a war starting. Dogs were howling. Soon we realized it must be fireworks, but couldn't find any mention of them online.

@VanConventions @PortVancouver @CityofVancouver I don't have a problem with private firework shows but I think that if you have to warn the public at the last minute to prevent large crowds, at least put it on the news or other social media outlets, and urge people to continue with their regular activities.

You can no longer exit onto Keith Rd via Heywood St to "beat traffic". THANK YOU to the officers patrolling the area. Please come everyday, this dangerous driving needs to stop

@nvanrcmp No access to Keith Rd via Heywood St in North Vancouver. Drivers are ignoring this and driving around into the oncoming traffic lane, a few almost smashing into the barrier. Incredibly dangerous. I counted 53 vehicles in the past 2 hours breaking the law. Please help!

I rely on @TransLink 100%. We need the #transitstrike resolved. I'm for the workers but people w/ disabilities, small children, no license/car, no $ for cab, no support system, and people in poverty are stranded. It's more than just an 'inconvenience' for these people.

We would like to try a busier area with more families so we feel more comfortable. Or even if a Rec center or business hands out candy we could try that maybe?
