A lot of myths surrounding alleged ‘sectarian’ treatment towards the GAA.
On cost…
The IFA contributed 11% of cost towards redeveloping Windsor Park.
Ulster Rugby contributed 23% of cost toward redeveloping Ravenhill.
The GAA planned to contribute just 3% of the cost towards redeveloping Casement Park.
The latter of the three was also to receive direct funding from the British and Irish Governments.
But the other two received no such special treatment.
This is GAA greed, plain and simple.
Day 2 of asking @naomi_long, Northern Ireland’s Justice Minister and leader of the Alliance Party, to meet with women to discuss our sex-based rights.
Women have been requesting this meeting for years, but she has repeatedly declined.
So I’ll keep asking. Every day, until the next election.
@jonnyharvey11 I thought this was a fair post from OWC earlier.
It’s understandable to lament the lack of a single venue in relation to peace building - I get that - but there would have been serious practical issues and we could have been left with a dreadful outcome for football.
Irish Gaelic is my preferred language. However, I stand with Donegall Park Avenue's residents. Go mbeire sibh bua! / May you achieve victory! I oppose the imposition of Irish Gaelic on people who do not speak it & for whom it has negative connotations.

@jamesgould23 Hi James. I complained to Ms Mc Donald about Sfs own record on abuse cases, last week. No reply. I look forward to you asking them pertinent questions rather than simply uploading what they say.
Thank you to @Alternatives_RJ and the wider Shankill community for unveiling this impressive mural as we approach our 250th birthday - a fantastic tribute to our enduring ties & shared history. 🇺🇸 🤝 @Freedom250
