The fact that you interpret "these three are one" literally and not as "unified" is rebuffed by Christ himself throughout the entire NT. Please refer to literally every scripture where Christ talks to his Father, describes his Father, etc.

Most Mormons know their Bible better than members of most other Christian denominations.

Well, except for all the things that Jesus actually taught that are in the New Testament and didn't come out of a committee centuries later. We don't need you to tell us what the New Testament says, we read it more than you do.

And a Christian is a disciple of Christ who accepts Christ as their Lord and Savior and recognizes him as the Son of God. The Nicean creed doesn't make one a Christian.
