An independent view of The Cheese Fest from someone who's been involved since the start. Proud to say we won the Best Food Event 2016 at the Dorset FD&F awards.
@LordMarkPrice Partly, I’m not sure it’s been a good thing (the amount of people leaving seems to be another indication). But also I tend to update FB & Instagram more (and they’re linked so if you post on one you actually can do both).
Firstly dates for Cheese Festival 2023 are 9 & 10 September.
Secondly the account will be closing - I don’t use it much these days (you may have noticed 😂).
You can find us on FB & Instagram, please do join us there!
Over and out.
@gregjames if you’re at a loose end this weekend, head down to sunny Dorset, I think this would be right up your street … CHEESE FESTIVAL… needs no explanation but just in case https://t.co/TJOtPQJkwD @NotSturCFest 🧀 💛
When your face is on stamps and coins, surely no one could fail to recognise you...
Well, turns out The Queen did once fool two American tourists, as former Royal protection officer Dick Griffin, told Sky News during the Platinum Jubilee in June 👇

We are very saddened by the news of the Queens death and our thoughts are with her family at this sad time. However, the Committee have made the decision that the Cheese Festival will go ahead this weekend, 10th & 11th September and we will celebrate her life.
My cousin Mark won’t be coming to the Cheese Festival as he’s doing a small cycle ride (😊) from Land’s End to John O’Groats funding raising for Prostate Cancer UK. Link in his tweet if you’d like to donate.
