Ettore Giulianelli is one of the most fascinating pitchers in the Cardinals system. Here’s a fun 2-pitch sequence from him tonight:

74.7 mph CU w/ 8” HB (essentially a Screwball)
@Beervana 1. German pils

6. Hazy IPA
7. Hazy DIPA (southern hemi hops)
8. BA English Barleywine

1. Pujols walk off on Easter (3rd homer of the game)
2. Aaron Miles walk off grand slam
3. Matt Carpenter’s 3rd home run of the series in Pittsburgh on his crazy run (saw all 3)
What’s the greatest home run you ever saw in person?
For me, it was seeing my all-time favorite player Fred McGriff hit a bomb at Wrigley Field (during a slugfest of a game that also included homers by Sammy Sosa, Moises Alou, Mark Bellhorn, Corey Patterson, and Jeff Bagwell).
