The U.S. House will be in session only 4 full days from July 24th to November 8th.
That’s 100 paid days off versus 4 full workings days plus 4 travel (half) days.
Meanwhile TRUMP says YOU have too many holidays.
Aaaaaaand THERE you go. What we all knew this was about. Like every authoritarian surveillance dystopia, it’s not about behavior or crime, but opposition to tyranny
This WSJ story on John Fetterman is wild especially on him blowing off a meeting with Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia who were concerned about Medicaid cards: “Behind closed doors, the first-term senator shows little interest in doing the job beyond cultivating relationships with conservative media figures and advocating for Israel.” https://t.co/92MOYMXW2W
Nothing screams “respect the troops” quite like pretending generations of American service members accomplished absolutely nothing until your political boss showed up.
"The description of the Middle East situation as an occasional, low-grade battle was a sign the administration is trying to place the war in the rear-view mirror two months ahead of critical midterm elections, even as the US military continues actively targeting Iranian positions," @Kevinliptakcnn reports. https://t.co/78UVvDIS0W
THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION WANTS PEOPLE TO RELEASE THEIR BIRTH CERTIFICATE TO PROVE THAT THEY ARE NOT UNDOCUMENTED.
I WANT THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION TO RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES TO PROVE THAT TRUMP AND HIS FRIENDS ARE NOT PEDOPHILES 🙄
🤮 JD Vance exudes a-hole vibes during briefing 🤮
During his turn as press sec today, JD Vance praised Trump for allegedly being the first president in his lifetime to win wars, but then said "I wouldn't call it a war" when asked moments later if Trump's campaign against Iran will last past the midterms. Vance also said he's "looking forward" to the 25th anniversary of 9/11 because Biden will be there, and "as you guys can probably guess, I'm really looking forward to hanging out with Joe Biden. I'm sure we'll have many many intense intellectual conversations. We'll have a great time."
All in all, Vance came across as a smug a-hole. Here's a supercut:
