Bhopal is witnessing one of the most critical transition phases. The Master Plan for the capital city is ready for implementation. However, what remains concerning is zero outreach and engagement with common citizens. The whole exercise of public consultation at the moment remains weak and is influenced by the real estate mafia and powerful bureaucrats. I believe that the master plan is a citizens' document, and they should, first, be able to understand what the government is proposing, and, second, be able to suggest changes and engage in transparent dialogue around it. At present, both are missing. Why is the government proactive in doing political events and outreach but not in engaging on genuine issues of the public interest? @DrMohanYadav51, I urge you to instruct your cabinet ministers and other elected leaders to hold consultations in their constituencies with citizens on this important issue. देहरादून में "दृष्टि-दिव्यांग स्टूडेंट का प्रोटेस्ट, हड़ताल"

एक कंधे पर दूसरे का हाथ और सिस्टम के खिलाफ जबरदस्त नारेबाजी.. यह तस्वीर देहरादून के दृष्टि दिव्यांग स्टूडेन्ट्स के स्कूल "नेशनल इन्स्टीट्यूट फॉर दि विजुअली हैन्डीकेप्टड" की है.

यह एक राष्ट्रीय संस्थान है. 5 दिन से इस राष्ट्रीय दृष्टिबाधित संस्थान के सैकड़ों स्टूडेन्ट्स अपने संस्थान में हड़ताल कर रहे है. कई बरसों से संस्थान में घटिया खाना, मंहगी किताबों और कई व्यवस्था संबधी दिक्कतें है. केन्द्र और राज्य सरकार को सैकड़ों चिठ्ठियां और मेल भेजने के बाद भी जब आवाज नही सुनी गयी तो बच्चों ने आवाज बुलंद की है. स्टूडेन्ट्स का यह प्रोटेस्ट संस्थान की अव्यवस्थाओं के अलावा दो मुख्य मांगों को लेकर है-

> 12वीं पासआउट स्टूडेन्ट को अगले 5 साल तक मिलने वाली स्कॉलरशिप सरकार ने 3 साल से बंद कर दी है. स्कॉलरशिप के अभाव में UG-PG की पढ़ाई के लिए बच्चों को कठिनाईयां आ रही है. मंत्रालय से सैकड़ों फरियादों के बाद भी बात नही सुनी गयी. स्कॉलरशिप फिर से शुरू की जाये.

> राष्ट्रीय स्तर के संवेदनशील संस्थान में कई बरसों से स्थाई निदेशक नही है. दिल्ली में कार्यरत अधिकारी को देहरादून के इस संस्थान का चार्ज दे दिया गया है. अस्थाई निदेशक देहरादून में नही रहते इसलिए बच्चों की समस्याओं पर ध्यान नही है. यह मांग 4 साल पुरानी है.
