The Brooklyn Nets are drawn to Nate Ament and Aday Mara, per @KevinOConnor.
“A few weeks ago I reported that the Nets were drawn to Nate Ament and Aday Mara. That remains true as we enter June, though there are still workouts to be done and there are plenty of teams interested in trading into this spot. For now, Ament gets the nod with this choice given Brooklyn already has so many guards on the roster.”

Wemby says Revenge of the Sith is his favorite Star Wars movie of all time:
“When I say I like Star Wars, I don’t count the last three movies. My favorite is Revenge of the Sith, my second favorite would have to be Attack of the Clones, and then I’d say The Empire Strikes Back.”

Full Jake Fischer breakdown on Giannis Conversations:
- Miami is the number 1 team to keep an eye on, Portland as well is a threat
-Giannis has had interest in Miami since 2020
- Doesn’t see BOS, MIN, HOU, OKC, ORL, CLE, trading for Giannis
- POR could get involved as a 3rd team to help facilitate a Giannis deal if they don’t land him
Giannis is yours if you want him @MiamiHEAT.
@Yung_Snickers@BucksBallKnower The warriors broke the league and thats why 3pt shooting was imperative. Since they have fallen off, its not nearly as needed. That is not me saying its not important at all
@BucksBallKnower@Yung_Snickers I was just gonna say, the nba has changed over the last 5-6 years. You really dont need to be a knock down shooter in the playoffs. You just cant be a complete offensive liability
@Uzi_O7x I see where people see the vision but he really struggled with physicality and being such an inefficient finisher at 6’10 with a 6’11 wingspan is a glaring red flag to me. Getting to and finishing at the rim gets much harder despite more spacing. I also think the handle is poor
The Nate Ament love comes from the fact that hes 6’10 and can kinda shoot even though he struggles to create separation and all his off the dribble shots are mostly contested. Nothing to his game is impressive to me
@freewave3 KD and to a lesser degree Brandon Ingram/Paul George, are still getting the 6’8+ players who can kinda dribble and shoot drafted high after all these years is so crazy. League will never learn
@Nittanylion02 I think he will be unlocked for a team where his offensive upside is a bonus and not a need. Hes gonna be so good at all the little things. Positional rebounding, creating turnovers, transition attacking, attacking closeouts, finishing and drawing fouls. That 3 ball is the bonus
Gambling on players like this gets GMs fired if they arent KD variants which he is far from. Give me Swain or Yaxel before him at wing
That being said and knowing the players that Sean Marks targets, he’ll probably be the pick
Hes a terrible finisher and cant play through physical contact with terrible at the rim efficiency. He doesnt have an explosive or tight handle because hes tall and lanky. He has length but probably wont offer much as a rebounder/interior defender cause hes frail in frame
Dailyn Swain defense vs Nate Ament.
Off night offensively, but thought Dailyn Swain vs TENN had some great defensive flashes.
Obviously a tremendous jump this year offensively Swain at Texas this season.
But still think the defensive ability going back to days at Xavier is what gets me to buy in, especially early impact wise at NBA level
