If I am hurt or killed, I hold @Columbia University liable. A faculty member has repeatedly posted about me, targeted me, & even emailed me about the passing of my grandmother while on paid leave. I have a no contact order with the school that has been repeatedly violated.
Your game "anomalous coffee machine" uses our co-owned character without consent and depicts explicit acts involving a minor. This is a serious violation of our rights and illegal since you also profit from it. We demand the immediate removal of this character.@horubrain
this goes against everything the fanbase has been trying to make clear in the past decade but it would rock so hard if she had an alt skin that was just black rock shooter
There has been a lot of misinformation about the ToS change tomorrow and the AI training stuff. A friend suggested that I should make a post about it.
Many people say that with the changes in the ToS, AI training will become mandatory. I can't find anything that backs up this information. What I did find is that the license you grant X for the use of your content is essentially the same as before.
Everything else are examples of how they can use those rights you give them, but examples are not limitations. The clarification of AI training didn't add anything new. That's why the system was already in place before the new ToS taking effect. Furthermore, they added that they will respect your choice to limit the distribution of your content, something that wasn't there before. There is nowhere that says that there will be mandatory AI training or that the option to opt-out will go away. People just made that up without any proof to back that up.
If you are really worried about the use of your content being used for AI training, I suggest reading the ToS of most social media sites. Many have left X to migrate to Blue Sky to avoid the misuse of their content. If you take a minute to read their ToS you will notice the broadly extent of the rights you grant them for the use of your content.
Basically, saying they can use it for whatever they want in ANY media AND give the same rights to others, without stating any limitations. Remember, examples are not limits. There is nothing stopping them to use your content to develop their own AI, they don't have to disclose that either, because you already granted the license for them to do it.
Don't take my word for it, go and read it by yourself. There is a lot of people that hate this site only because of who owns it and will twist or make up stuff just to try to convince everyone that is bad. Take everything you read about it with a grain of salt.
LMAO so, recently someone tried to SCAM me, so i'll show you what happened and the telldales of it being a scam.
