A lot of Investing is “gut-feeling”.
While reading IndiaMART’s con-calls one thing I noticed was them outsourcing the getting customers part to some 3rd party.
I knew how incentives drive outcome and I made a note saying “this will impact the company in a few quarters”
Then, in Q3FY24, the management acknowledged this same thing.
Always remember (or rather, never forget) incentives rule the world.
@aryanistweeting If you’re not having fun, what even is the need for money.
But, if you’re having fun, even then what is the need for money.
Money beyond a point is moot. You’ve got one life, have fun.
But, in the process if you make money, good.
One red flag I feel is when the management is too confident on con calls.
For Coforge, I feel that.
I still don’t know if it’s confidence or something else.

My thoughts on IndiaMART; A detailed article will follow.

The problem isn’t that AI is intelligent. It isn’t. The problem is that too many adults (but not all) are at once mechanistic, imitative, unimaginative, stupid, formulaic, influenceable, & gullible, arrogant beyond their skill set, & too expensive to maintain.
