“Truly in the body is a piece of flesh. If it is sound, the whole body is sound.
If it is corrupt, the whole body is corrupt. Truly, it is the heart.”
— [Bukhari & Muslim]
The scariest thing isn’t death; it’s becoming so distracted by this dunya that we forget we are returning to Allah. May our hearts return to Him before it’s too late. Ameen.
Many people spend their lives chasing, forcing, and worrying, yet never find peace. Others move with calmness and confidence, and the right things seem to come to them naturally. That isn’t luck, it’s clarity.
When you’re overwhelmed, fear drives your decisions. You mistake urgency for purpose, ignore warning signs, and pursue what only appears right. But when you’re calm, you see more clearly, listen more carefully, and stop forcing doors that were never meant for you.
Calmness also inspires trust. People feel safe around those who are grounded. That’s why Islam emphasizes sakinah: inner tranquility. It is not weakness; it is clarity. What is truly meant for you often enters your life with peace, not chaos.
The saddest truth in Surah Maryam [19:23] is:
"Sometimes the trial will be so heavy that you'll wish you were never born".
if Allah saw her pain, He sees yours too.
The number of deaths I've come across recently is truly concerning. None of us is guaranteed tomorrow either. May Allah have mercy on their souls and grant us all a good ending. Ameen
If the heart is given life by dhikr, nothing in this world will overpower it.
“The more you know Allah, the less you are attached to what is in the hands of people.”
