The difference between South Africa and many other African countries is not wealth. It is the willingness to confront failure. We own ours. You run from yours. That is not a lack of exposure. That is a lack of accountability. And until you fix that, no mineral, no resource, no tweet will save you. Go home. Fix your house. Then talk to us about exposure.

FACT: The arrest of Fani Masemola is a clear attempt to demoralise those fighting against organised crime in the SAPS. It is meant to humiliate him & decrease the momentum against powerful politicians, & rogue generals.

By putting him in a raw with accused in multiple murder, attempted murder, they want to paint him as rogue in the eyes of the public. He is not!

By definition: this means you are incapable of serving the public or public interest!

Interestingly, whilst our constitution states “unsound mind” as an important test for being an MP. The US constitution doesn’t. Section 47.1(d) of the SA constitution states:

“Every citizen who is qualified to vote for the National Assembly is eligible to be a member of the Assembly, except— ... (d) anyone declared to be of unsound mind by a court of the Republic.”

Under this law, we could approach a court and have someone like Trump declared of “unsound mind” using the definition of Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

Although in our own case law sever narcissistic personality disorder has not been tested. The USA must take consideration of this because how can a sitting head of state be locked out of his own situation room because generals consider him “temperamental”. Also, that he demanded nuclear codes when the USA did NOT face an existential threat?

Trump has also demonstrated this sense of pathological narcissism in very single tweet. He manages to centre himself, EVEN in the appointment of the Pope! He has no remorse and publicly mocks people with disabilities.

Madlanga Commission must become a task team that investigates corruption across all spheres of government for 5 yrs. Municipalities, province, national. It must be funded under the SAPS and DOJ. It must work with SAPS, NPA, SIU and the Judiciary to ensure those found with fault are prosecuted. People will change their behaviour and the corrupt will be fired, the system will begin to clean itself.

His reappointment follows consultation with the Premier of KwaZulu-Natal, Mr Thami Ntuli.
