The ominous voice and co-founder of the Cleveland-based metal band Mushroomhead, known for blending alternative metal, industrial, and nu metal styles. His theatrical stage presence and distinctive clean vocals contrasted with the harsher growls of co-vocalist J Mann.

Before Mushroomhead, he was the frontman for the Cleveland-based thrash metal band Hatrix, active in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

The founder and frontman of Purgatory in the mid 80s, another Cleveland-based metal act that helped lay the foundation for his later work in heavier and theatrical metal genres.

Jeffrey Nothing eventually left Mushroomhead in 2018 to focus on solo projects, A new Album is on the way.
