If you didn't know, #Podvarak is a game about surviving during wartime sanctions, based on my memories of 90s Yugoslavia. It's supposed to be a reminder of what I hoped will never happen again, but I don't know what to feel when your game is becoming a reality for many people.
Tomorrow, we're doing Zig Day in Belgrade for the first time! Anyone can come and learn something about Zig and start a project or just ask for help. Everyone is welcome π #ziglang
PS the game had the pastel bubblegum look, and like each object had random color similar to those physics engine test scenes.
Also the gifs and pics are not mine, just an attempt to illustrate the dream, but definitely the closest vibe was that of the old Operation Flashpoints
I had the most realistic gamedev nightmare. I was dreaming that I was making a game with vast landscapes where you can walk around but the far plane was not far enough so the mountains would clip as you look left-right..
The game in the dream felt so cool already as it was really tense and the atmosphere was great, but all I was thinking about was how the game is broken and it'll take forever to fix all the bugs. A true gamedev nightmare π°π°π°
