The internet has a leak problem. Existing takedown services have a search problem.
Most tools look for filenames and titles.
But today's leaks are:
• Reuploaded under different names
• Cropped and edited
• Shared in Telegram
• Posted on Reddit
• AI-generated deepfakes
the reposts you find are never the whole problem. it's the ones with your face on a body that isn't yours, on a site you've never heard of, that you never even see
we started this because every "content protection" service we looked at was doing the exact same basic search everyone else does, and missing the same stuff everyone else misses. so we built something that actually looks at faces, not filenames
platforms now legally have to pull nonconsensual content within 48 hours or the FTC can fine them over $50k. per violation. no cap. this is not a small thing and barely anyone's using it yet
the scariest part of deepfakes isn't that they exist, it's that most takedown tools have literally no way to even find them. they're searching for your face by filename. deepfakes don't have your filename. they don't have your file at all
I hate that creators can’t say they don’t consent to having AI deepfake porn made of them without it being some kind of argument.
like bro they didn’t CONSENT what don’t you GET
yeah teenage girls are starting to be harassed with deepfake porn of themselves by their male classmates. y'all are sick. deepfake porn needs to be criminalized and anyone making nonconsensual porn of real people, especially children, should be sent to jail I'm not joking
Oh but my channels are getting deleted… BUT LOOK THIS IS OK.. people stealing my likeness, throwing them into AI generators and posting videos to get views.. I CAN’T POST MY CONTENT, BUT OTHER PEOPLE CAN STEAL IT?!?!
@Kaelath_The_Red@HollytWolf This is obviously insane, which is why we desperately need to pass the NO FAKES act, which would make all unauthorized deepfakes illegal. Until then though, the best course of action is to file a privacy complaint directly to Youtube.
@Kaelath_The_Red@HollytWolf You're absolutely correct and it being for profit isn't even a requirement, any unauthorized distribution of copyrighted content is an infringement under DMCA. However if the content is ai-generated using your likeliness technically it isn't copyrighted content.
@Kaelath_The_Red@HollytWolf DMCA can't touch a deepfake as there's no copyrighted footage to claim. Since this doesn't seem to be intimate content (which could be easily dealt through TAKE IT DOWN) the best option is to file a privacy complaint at: https://t.co/bcyXbdqRiF
Even after every filename, title, and watermark has been stripped, we're still able to find stolen content, fakes and impersonators and take them down.
Noticeora doesn't search for files.
It searches for faces.
We continuously scan websites, search engines, forums, and social platforms using facial recognition to identify:
✓ Leaked content
✓ Mirror uploads
✓ Edited videos
✓ AI-generated intimate deepfakes

quick psa: if someone made an AI deepfake of you, DMCA does nothing. it's not your footage, it's not copyrighted, it never happened. you need a completely different law for that (it exists now btw, since May)
your leaked content probably isn't even the version you uploaded. reposters strip the metadata and rename the file so it doesn't show up when you search your own name. wild how much of this is just... sitting there
