Being poor is the default. The real question is what lifts you out. Markets reward anyone with value to offer. States protect current capitalism.

I'm not a big fan of "the real world" and believe that right now the biggest fishes have the incentive to be corrupt and buy laws that are violent towards the people. The question is which system gives them the fewest incentives and the least power. Markets generally reward cooperation, reputation and value creation, not coercion.
