I’d be more inclined to encourage my daughter to report the matter to the police rather than be a part of a media storm, you are asking people to believe the ‘media’ here NOT the accusers. Criminal trials are not perfect I agree, however there’s no better test available that is fair sadly. We can’t simply just ‘believe everyone all of the time and forever about everything’ What would society look like if we did? I could flip it back to you and say, what of it was your son who was accused in this way yet you knew he was innocent?
How so? When I identify as a person who is right about everything, all of the time and forever?
Please don’t infringe on my human rights!
Point being (you so readily red penned), the back log of cases in the ECHM is so gargantuan due to disparity between cultures, opinions, facts and fictions that there is surely a debate to be had about its effectiveness in its current form.
I don’t think anyone, or any government is trying to abolish or pull away from the concept of the convention and the great progress made since its inception in circa 1950.
More so an evolution of thought, maybe even a realisation that in this day and age, should it not be self evident in it’s effectiveness across the spectrum of the individual and collective?
Why pay somebody 600 million a year (collectively) to tell us things that we really all ought to already know.
The convention did never, could never, prevent Hitler type regimes, when the enforcement calls only for an individual government to supersede its own actions by self enforcement.
With respect, you don’t know in which order to warm the beans or make the toast. You’re clearly brilliant, but please don’t arrogantly red pen me, I’m a human. ♥️
@eugah@lexfridman Yes he does realise it, he also realises that to take the power from those types of people they have to be exposed. Otherwise they may just be misunderstood, from this society can debate and learn. Suppressing views of any type help them grow.
We all good people really mate, nobody wants anybody to die regardless of the words they spout. (Obviously psychopaths excluded) I’m sure there are people who regret some of the things they said or did during it all, it’s hard to make rational decisions when the options are forced upon us by (let’s be charitable) a preposterous set of incompetence. When people are force fed that those choosing not to vaccinate were trying to kill them. The real question we need to get to here is what do we do about it, what does progress look like, and progress happens when a decent dialogue happens and it has to include the people that Lozza was basically further ostracising. He’d be a better politician (if that’s what he calls himself now) if he presented the facts in such a way that these people can reply to in such a way that brings the common ground you all know is there in reality.
From there support is gained and eventually that becomes the roadmap to the changes that need to happen.
Anyways I wish you well 👍
