Will say it again, Scout took his stand correctly in this situation because, for him, the REAL world matters more. Now that he realises his real life is getting ruined, he has immediately backed out of the bhai-behen bond. At this point, he would probably be relieved to see Love get eliminated.

On the other hand, Love is the one getting the most affected. Instead of protecting her dignity and self-respect, she is making things worse for herself by overdoing. Her reactions make me wonder how deeply attached she became to Scout to let this bond which doesn't seems to be a Bhai Bhen one from her side affect her so much.

She had the perfect opportunity to shine with all the sympathy pouring in, but instead, she has reached a point where even her own supporters are backing out of defending her, at least for now.
