Brilliant evening last night at the William de Mowbray Chapel St Thomas of Acon Order where Sir Ernest of Bishop Norton became Worthy Master and a new Knight Sir John of Bonsdale was welcomed to the Order

Provincial Vice Chancellor Colin Bainbridge , but true to form it all went very smoothly

The Knights who had passed to higher service during the year were suitably honoured and remembered

This years promotions /appointments were gratefully received by the very deserving Knights

This years Provincial Priory was a very well attended event and support was also received from many other provinces, especially Derbyshire , where the Provincial Prior attended with his whole Bodyguard and some amusing banter took place between the Provincial Prior of Derbyshire

and our own Provincial Prior Jim Crossley which showed the friendly atmosphere that exists

The whole ceremony passed by so quickly, always the sign of a well organised and well planned event and as the Provincial Prior noted if it went badly it would be the fault of the

The Director of Ceremonies is the Conductor of the Lodge, making sure all the proceedings of the Lodge meeting and subsequent meal go as planned.
