Pleased that @Nottswildlife is hosting national AGM of Association of Wildlife Trust Consultancies, talking impact nationally and how to support biodiversity net gain with developers.

Watching Erin McDaid @EngineYardBC talking badger vaccinations. Stunning location overlooking vale of Belvoir where the vaccinations are taking place.

Great to see Notts Wildlife Trust Vice President Mike Dilger opening the Sherwood Forest Visitor Center with Council Leader Kay Cutts. Congratulations to @RSPBSherwood and @NottsCC for delivering a great leap forward for all of us involved in protecting and enhancing Sherwood

[Attenborough Reserve @AttenboroughNR]

Our huge thanks goes out to #RedWatch from @nottsfire #HighfieldsFireStation in Beeston for helping us save our wildlife pond. Using a portable pump to refill the pond with water from the adjacent lake, they completed in half an hour what would have take a day of volunteer time!

Busy morning with announcement from @HLFEastMids of the success of Miner 2 Major Landscape Partnership bid for Sherwood Forest. £2.4m invested in natural heritage and communities. Nearly a decade of hard work from @NottsCC, @Nottswildlife and @RSPBSherwood to secure this.

Had an inspiring, and hot, session yesterday at @AttenboroughNR with staff and trustees looking at key issues facing the trust. Great facilitation by @No8marketing

Found the welcome shade of a lovely tree in a urban concrete jungle - they are such magnificent living things #30DaysWild

[Rob Fitzsimons @NottsWT_CEO]

The smallest amount of wildlife can help transform an urban environment - thank you to @BroadwayCinema

[Rob Fitzsimons @NottsWT_CEO]

Thanks to @TheWilsonOrg for their continued support of the Trust and the loan of their meeting room today. It was great during #MHAW18 to reduce the stress of our meeting by being hosted by such lovely people and only a short stroll from the amazing @NottinghamParks Arboretum

[Rob Fitzsimons @NottsWT_CEO]

#MHAW18 you could try and find a place to work with a view like this at the Idle Valley, certainly distracts you from the stress of the day.

[Rob Fitzsimons @NottsWT_CEO]

Look to using your local wildlife spaces to help you reduce stress levels #MHAW18 Just 10mins being closer to nature can make the difference in your day. I will share some of the Wildlife spaces I spend 10 mins this week.

[Rob Fitzsimons @NottsWT_CEO]

Had a great meeting with Alex Norris @ANorrisMP sharing ideas on how we can work together in our communities to build better connections with local green spaces. Also he is going to support #30DaysWild in June - don’t forget to sign up!

[Rob Fitzsimons @NottsWT_CEO]

@Nottswildlife has some amazing (and photogenic) volunteers whose contribution is impossible to quantify. Thanks to all our volunteers. https://t.co/D1c0FrA6f5

[Castle Rock Brewery @CRBrewery]

NOW AVAILABLE! A fruity and juicy pale ale, Songbird is brewed with Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe and Centennial. It goes down a treat in this weather😍

Nice spot for today’s training session - by luck had the best day of the year!

The one plus of the long journey with an early start is the great dawn chorus in Burton Joyce this morning.
