I went from no work all summer, to being swamped with "hey can you cover these 3-4 weeks of stuff starting tomorrow?"

Where was all this when I was looking 3 months ago?
Sure when I needed work "there's nothing available" but when they're panicking its "we really value you"😑

I have had this same argument with multiple people at nexus nights (mostly new players) who then tell me "in MTG it doesn't work that way" but it DOES work that way in MTG 😑

Riftbound Organized Play will have a new look in 2027. 🔥

1⃣ A Nexus Cup program, a new monthly tournament at local game stores.
2⃣ Replacing Summoner Skirmishs with the Riftbound Challenge Series.
3⃣ Regional Qualifiers are changing to Riftbound Regionals, with more events than ever next year.
4⃣ Regional Championships will change to Riftbound Continentals, with one culminating event per set.

We’re making changes in the current Organized Play ecosystem as we introduce the next evolution of competitive Riftbound in 2027:

- We’re adding the new Nexus Cup program, a new monthly tournament at local game stores.
- We are retiring Summoner Skirmish and introducing the Riftbound Challenge Series to act as the first rung of our competitive ladder.
- Regional Qualifiers are becoming Riftbound Regionals, with more of them spread around the world and throughout the year.
- Regional Championships are becoming Riftbound Continentals, which will be our cornerstone event of each set.
