Last week Nourish Lexington & Foodchain were able to ensure Fayette County kids didn’t go hungry during the gap between the end of the school year lunches and before the summer lunch program, and distributed 2,400 lunches. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this effort!

Nourish the Backstretch, an initiative from Keeneland & @BGFCharities & an extension of @Nourish_Lex, has provided grocery care packages to backstretch workers at Keeneland & The Thoroughbred Center for the past 2 weeks, and will continue to throughout the months of May and June.
The first Nourish Our Heroes event launched today, providing 200 meals to firefighters serving our community. @CirceoFannin funded the meals provided by Bayou Bluegrass Catering and distributed at @RedMileKY. Thank you to all involved in honoring @LexKYFire!
