@JHBWater Those meters have nothing to do with huge areas out of water for extended periods incompetence is the biggest reason & the employment of staff not qualified enough but employed just to make the numbers paid huge salaries for the little knowledge they bring to the table
@JHBWater So 13 hrs later than originally announced coz some can’t tell the difference between copper iron & galvanized steel November needs to get here like yesterday
@JHBWater All these nonsense posts but no actual updates on repairs at Randpark U guys really treat your paying customers like fools so latest update seems that 48hrs later u have only realized that the pipe isn’t what u thought it was it was 🤡 so it’s back to the start 😡
@THEDEVCHEV U can’t be serious Surely when they did the excavation they could tell what kinda of pipe was there 🤔 Seems like lucky packet qualifications
Good day, residents 👋
Following the recent announcement of the DA’s ward candidates, I am honoured to share that I have been selected as the DA Ward Councillor Candidate for Ward 98 in the upcoming Local Government Elections.
Following the elections on 4 November, the new Ward 98 will include Boskruin, Bromhof, Kelland and Windsor West, as well as portions of Randpark Ridge and Fairland.
Many of you already know me. I currently serve as a Johannesburg ward councillor and already represent and work with several of the communities that will become part of the new Ward 98.
Over the past five years, I have worked daily with residents on the issues that affect us most, electricity and water outages, roads and stormwater, refuse collection, streetlights, public spaces and other service-delivery challenges.
My priorities for Ward 98 are simple:
🔵 Reliable electricity, water and basic services
🔵 Better roads, stormwater infrastructure and public spaces
🔵 A responsive, accessible and accountable councillor
I look forward to meeting many more Ward 98 residents over the coming months, listening to your priorities and continuing to fight for our communities.
There is a lot of work ahead and I am ready to get to work.
Devon Steenkamp
DA Ward 98 Candidate 💙
@JHBWater@Tengosaurus It’s now 6.30am and the taps are still dry. I see updates since this one especially no bragging one so I guess u have not completed the repairs?
@JHBWater@SthahMk Would be delivered quicker if u used 4 wheel transport rather than a snail coz all 3 of today’s updates have been about sourcing as opposed to actually getting the job done We need water this has gone on long enough
@JHBWater Ur joking 36hrs later ur sourcing still 24hrs ago contractors were on site Dont take us all for idiots Pay the people with the money we pay you Roll on November out with the useless in with the competent The longer the pipes remain dry the more likely u gonna pick more breaks
