Drink a protein shake first thing in the morning.
After 7–9 hours of fasting while you sleep, your body is primed to use nutrients. A quick protein shake delivers amino acids right away, helping:
• Kick-start muscle protein synthesis and limit overnight muscle breakdown
• Stabilize blood sugar and curb mid-morning hunger
• Support recovery if you train early
• Make hitting your daily protein target effortless
It’s fast, requires zero cooking, and sets a high-protein tone for the rest of the day. Blend, sip, and start strong.
@dr_ericberg I’ve been doing it for so long that I don’t even call it intermittent fasting. It’s just how I live day by day. I feel like putting labels makes people quit sooner.
Does retatrutide lower your biomarkers… or is it just the massive weight loss doing the heavy lifting?
Short answer: both.
Phase 2 data shows big drops in triglycerides, LDL, BP, HbA1c, insulin resistance markers, liver fat, and inflammation (hsCRP). A lot tracks with the 20%+ weight loss.
But the glucagon receptor agonism appears to add direct effects—boosting fat oxidation, lowering certain atherogenic lipids via pathways like ANGPTL3/8, and improving metabolic signatures that aren’t fully explained by the scale alone.
Weight loss is the big driver. The triple agonist is the turbocharger.
(Not medical advice—still investigational.)
