@typloosion@TroyWD98@NintendoAmerica Making a fuss online about it does nothing Nintendos strategy for heat is to ignore it and it always works unless you vote with your wallet Already hard to do since the ppl mad about this are ppl who bought a S2 and MK world already Best rebuttal: cancel your online subscription
@TonyGuava@SorellaKez@TroyWD98@NintendoAmerica It’s not impossible to role a 3 lap course but it’s not guaranteed anymore and random basically became the way of saying “I don’t care what course we race I just want 3 laps of it” and that option is gone and there no replacement for it
@warpio@rizka4498 @banananana2k @TroyWD98@NintendoAmerica That’s kinda the issue, a lot of ppl only want to play global online with 3 lap courses and that option isn’t guaranteed now. For many ppl it was the only way to consistently have fun online and that consistency is now gone. They took something away without a replacement for it.
@CringePoop@CDaukshus@TroyWD98@NintendoAmerica Many ppl don’t like the intermission tracks because there aren’t many tricks or shortcuts to do, they heavily reward bagging and for some this makes them less interesting or less engaging to drive on, random used to always give you a 3 lap course but now it’s not guaranteed
@CringePoop@CDaukshus@TroyWD98@NintendoAmerica Intermission tracks are where you drive in a straight line for around 2/3 of the track driving over to the course the then 1/3 of the track (which can be sometimes less than a full lap) driving an actual race course.
@DarrenMelynk@WeshBallz You do know who he is right? Wesballz. One of the og melee players who gave birth to the fast and aggressive falco play style in the 2010s. Guys a legend who grew in the community the same time as Hax did.
@BlazednConfuzd8@MVG_Mew2King Aside from what everyone else is responding with, don’t forget M2’s was dealing with his own allegations about himself at the time. Not only that but zero told everyone to not publicly show support because he didn’t want their careers to suffer as well.
@dollarnuftynuf I mean I’m grossly oversimplifying here but leffen hasn’t gotten as much shit from the community as hax did. Leffen gets internet ppl yelling at him. Hax had his life taken away from him. And I don’t mean his death. I mean his life WAS melee and that was taken from him.
@dollarnuftynuf You’re right, we should be honoring Hax’s legacy rn but the sad reality is that for many it was a legacy cut short because of leffen. And a legacy we’ll never get to see and end to because of his ban.
@dollarnuftynuf Obviously I can’t speak for everyone but for me it makes me mad because hax loved melee more than life itself and because of leffen, got banned from ever being able to compete. It’s frustrating because hax wasn’t able to enjoy the community he loved because of leffen.
@ImJustCody1 I agree with perma banning leffen but no he didn’t have anything to do with hax dying. He died of a medical condition.
What I will say is though is that it’s extremely fucked up that because of leffen, hax ended up dying unable to compete in his favorite game again.
@GsFlint Idk abt culture war shit but TOs absolutely fucked hax over for years. It’s kinda a long and messy story but yeah fuck any TO who banned him for life while letting leffen off Scott free
