What does family mean to you? Is it a house- or something more? For our society members, home is where their family is. Change the roof and change the bed, so long as we have each other- those are the ties that bind. #notjustarefugee

This is Dr. Essa. He was a #dentist in #Syria, owning his own practice & working for the Ministry of Health. He is going through the process of becoming a dentist again. It's not easy; but he is hopeful that he will be able to practice again here in #NovaScotia #notjustarefugee

Did you know the Canadian government is set to ramp up from immigration from 310,000 this year to 350,000 by 2021? We are excited to be able to pay it forward and help the next round of refugees navigate the challenges of landing in a new country.
