@The_Evil_Seed@OjamaPlague@ygorganization Nope, Enlilgirsu and Babel are worded the same way, and you can use his grave effect during your opponent's turn because Babel will override the activation timing.
@ygorganization This card is insane against combo decks. Imagine negating a June Pride or Charmer/Zenna summon after your opponent thought they were safe after putting up a Photon Lord or Ilya Silvia/Dragoon.
This card is insane against some combo decks. Negating June Pride's summon after a player thinks they're safe after setting up Mediclius and Photon Lord or negating a Charmer Quartet/Zenna Line.
CL2 Elfnote Power Patron effect might have to be incorporated into the lines.
@TheBystialLube It's W:P and Dragoon into Mudragon. If the opponent wants to use Ilia Silvia, they turn off the I:P and vice-versa. You can't leave W:P on board no matter what because of Charmer Quartet.
@abhishek_k4424 Arguing that a work is bad because the protagonist's moral compass isn't well-aligned is asinine. If the average person really rated fiction in such a way, shows with villain MCs like Death Note or Overlord would be getting way more flak.
@redman2408 I believe you are wrong. Based on the translation, the restriction is part of the effect, not a separate sentence as an activation condition. So it should functionally work the same as S:P Little Knight's "direct attack" lock.
If there's anything you should take away from the diary, it's that Eris, Cliff, Zanoba, and Aisha are most loyal and ride-or-die people in the whole series.

ITS BANLIST SLOP SEASON BABY
somewhere between a prediction of obvious hits and things i want to see (leaving out obvious non-format-specific stuff like ban all charmies)
toon alligator is a stand in for some kind of toon pre-hit.
all killer tunes to 2 seems like smth theyd do
Crazy to see over 20,000 submissions for everyone's favorite monsters, spells, and traps so far. Let's switch things up a bit.
What cards do you hate the most?

While I don't agree this is a poorly designed card, I believe this card is currently a bit too powerful for the role it plays as a mostly generic non-engine piece.
If you compare it to recent cards, it is far and away so much stronger than anything else that shares the same niche as it (generic, quickplay spell, spot removal).
We have had 1-for-1 generic quickplay spell removal like Cosmic Cyclone, but those are restricted to hitting spells and traps. Offerings to the Doomed and Final Bringer of the End Times, which was released as recently as 2024, require you to go -1 in advantage to remove a monster at quick effect speed.
Meanwhile, The Fallen & The Virtuous can trade 1-for-1 immediately, can interact with both backrow and monsters, goes +1 at the EP to search another copy, trades even again, then the Ecclesia and the Dark Dragon also removes another card. Effectively +2 or +3 depending on how many Albions or Dogma Dragons you want to run in your Extra Deck.
I don't think I'm wrong in saying that it feels like we skipped several steps in generic quickplay removal card design. Where is the generic quickplay spell that just says "destroy 1 card on the field", or the generic quickplay spell that says "Destroy 1 face-up card your opponent controls, then draw 1 card at the End Phase of this turn"?
This is also just ignoring the other uses of the card where it just has other random synergies with some archetypes, like letting the Medius decks access Vidolium easier.
"Poorly designed" may not be accurate, but this card is definitely ahead of its time and probably should have had more restrictions to keep it in archetype. I would not be against limiting or semi-limiting this card for a good stretch of time.
@KuribohOverlord Can we just have Secreterion Dragon banned? The card is already excessive and becomes absolute cancer when you can make it at spell speed 2.
The Branded cards are strong, but my biggest complaints about playing against Dracotail variants were almost always enabled by the Dracotail cards:
-Arthalion looping HTs with lingering effects. Most notably Droll & Lock Bird/Lancea.
-Spell speed 2 Secreterion with Faimena
