A lady asked me for money one time, I gave her. She never paid back as promised. Guess what? Two weeks later, she sent me a message saying she wants to come over. I told her cool, she can swing by. She came, we talked, nothing happened.
I offered to drop her at her place and she agreed. The moment I dropped her off, she texted me that she came to repay her debt but I obviously didn’t read the room. She said she has done her part and doesn’t have any money to pay me. I should understand.
I was too stunned to even reply that message because I don’t get why you’d think your body is the best way to pay a debt
Women you can do better!!!
Update on My Neighbor!!!
Our neighbor just bought landlady’s daughter her new phone 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽
The way she jumped and hugged him ehn, you’d think these two were dating. 🤣
I’m coming! Let me go and hear more gist
🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️
Back when I was living in Ibadan, I finally agreed to go on a date with this guy after several attempts. We kept postponing because something always came up for either of us. My colleagues at work even knew about it because I had been shouting all day, "Abeg, no stress me today. I get date!" They hyped me up so much. 😂
I got to the recreation club, and he was already there with a bottle of Heineken. I hadn't eaten all day, so I ordered a bottle of malt.
As we were talking, I started smelling pepper soup. It smelled so good that I called one of the attendants and asked what they had. She listed the options and prices. I asked for one plate for myself and even asked him if he wanted any. He said no.
A few minutes later, they brought the pepper soup... with two spoons. I offered him one, and he still said he wasn't eating. I happily ate my pepper soup while it was still scorching hot. 😂 It was so peppery that I ended up ordering two bottles of water.
Now, the funny part.
The drinks and the pepper soup had separate bills. The lady who served the pepper soup came to collect her payment. I was busy pressing my phone because I was replying to something from work, and in my head I was waiting to hear, "I've got it."
This man just sat there... relaxed.
I even pretended to look for my money for a few seconds, hoping he'd make a move. Nothing. So I brought out my money and paid for my pepper soup. He continued our conversation like absolutely nothing happened. 😂
Then the guy who served the drinks came. This guy paid for the drinks....his Heineken and my malt while I paid for the two bottles of water. 😂
After everything, we were leaving, and while I was looking for a bike home, this man tried to squeeze money into my hand like an uncle sharing Christmas transport fare.
I was so confused. Bro, what does that even mean? If you wanted to give me money, why the secret hand squeeze? It just made everything even more awkward.
I rejected the money and went home.
When he got home, he texted me: "I really had a nice time. I hope we get to see each other again and again because I like you already."
I just read it and laughed. You like me already ke? 😏😏 Noooooo. Me I don't like you o. 😂
I didn't block him or insult him. I just started avoiding him until he eventually decoded the message.
My colleagues were waiting the next day for the full gist. They were too stunned to speak after I finished. 😂
I love Nigerian parents for one thing: we don’t take bullshit.
What do you mean you’re getting angry and breaking things in my own house? You go too chop beating. 😂
Update on My Neighbor!!!
My neighbor is back and he’s looking for landlady’s daughter, but landlady said she’s not back from where she went to.

Update on My Neighbor!!!
So, what caused the quarrel between landlady and her daughter was the goat meat in the freezer. Landlady wanted to cook it, but landlady’s daughter said she wanted to give the remaining meat to our neighbor. Landlady said no.
Landlady’s daughter got angry and said she didn’t even give the meat to her friends because landlady had already shared the good parts with her own friends who came for the birthday.
Landlady then said she’s doing too much with this our neighbor. Apparently, our neighbor only gave landlady’s daughter ₦200k for the party because that’s what she asked him for, but she spent over ₦450k on the birthday. So, she used her own money to celebrate the birthday. 🤣🤣🤣
Landlady called her a busybody and told her to better go and collect her money from our neighbor. 🤣
In landlady’s voice: “During our time, na man dey chase woman. Now things don change, na woman dey use her money feed man. Mumu!” 😂
Landlady’s daughter got angry and left the compound. 😂
I’ll keep you guys updated.
