My wife doesn't understand that while every girl wanted to be a Disney princess at some point, every boy wanted to be a fighter pilot. Ace Combat is the equivalence of the "ultimate Disney princess simulator" for men in that regards. Though I think all women should play it too.
Ok, guys we need your help to make ourselves heard.

It's been now 12 days. 12 days that we have sent sketchfab a DMCA request regarding our proprietary 3D models, regarding a repeat offender banned twice under Epic management. Ever since Sketchfab has joined the kitbash family, there is simply no more support, no more hope. It seems it has become some sort of lawless space where anybody can post somebody else's IP with little consideration for consequence. They say they're busy, they'll get back when they reach our ticket - but how come we've been waiting for that long while every request under Epic never took more than 3 days? Do we expect safe harbor to apply when the illegal material has been known to be around for nearly 2 weeks?
Please RT, please like, please support. It feels like they will start to act responsibly only under duress. We were thinking of bringing our business to them, but it seems there's nothing out there to protect us from predatory practices anymore. I kid you not, we had better results when negotiating with Russian individuals regarding the same topic.
A bit of a shame, especially when taunting us with future AI moderation.
Thank you all. Thank you for our 3d artists.

On July 23, 1968, the only F-111B ever to work a carrier deck went aboard USS Coral Sea off California. BuNo 151974 finished 9 arrested landings and 10 catapult shots without a problem, four days after the Navy’s stop-work order had already killed production.
The swing-wing interceptor trapped about 10 knots slower than the F-14 that replaced it and was easier on the wires even though it recovered some 4,000 pounds heavier. Arrestor tests at Patuxent River in February had come first. Navy leaders had already written the jet off as overweight and unsuited to the boat, but the approach was smooth and the airplane sat well on the ball.
The F-111B never reached the fleet. Its AWG-9 radar and Phoenix missiles did. 🫡
16 years ago Google pulled its search engine out of China because they wouldn’t submit to an authoritarian government.
Today, they’re renaming lakes to appease one.
This isn't funny.
This isn't amazing.
This isn't Precision.
This is dangerous.
I was taught a long time ago that aviation regulations are written in blood.
If this was "planned" then the entire airline needs to be shut down and the crew and management need to be banned.
Planning. Precision. Performance. ✈️✈️

The name Lake Ontario comes from the Wendat word Ontari’io, which, appropriately, means “the lake is beautiful, the lake is big”.
The name is more than 400 years old, predating both the Confederation of Canada and the Declaration of Independence of the United States of America.
We know that America is changing. Their trading relationships, their foreign policies, their national monuments, their hydronyms.
Canadians also know that naming reality means calling it Lake Ontario – then, now and always.
This is starting to feel like an episode of Yes, Minister.
President:
“I want the island moved forward. It will look much better.”
Admiral:
“An excellent and characteristically decisive proposal, Mr President.”
President:
“So you’ll do it?”
Admiral:
“Certainly. We have already initiated a comprehensive interdepartmental feasibility assessment.”
President:
“How long will that take?”
Admiral:
“The preliminary study should be completed shortly before the detailed study can begin.”
President:
“And when can you move the island?”
Admiral:
“That will depend on the findings of the independent review of the preliminary assessment.”
Then establish:
— A flight-deck operations working group
— An airflow and turbulence study
— A stability and weight assessment
— A cost-benefit analysis
— An environmental impact review
— A flight-safety risk assessment
— A congressional report on industrial capacity
— A comparative study with the Nimitz class
Two years later, the report concludes that moving the island is:
“Technically achievable, subject to substantial further analysis.”
Civil-service English for:
It is a completely insane idea, and we intend to wait until you are gone.
Sir Humphrey would call it a courageous decision. 😎⚓
