I watched the moon landing from my Marine Corps barracks. I remember seeing photos of people stopped in front of store windows, watching it on the TVs displayed. More than 50 years later and 57 years older, I just can't get excited by these recent attempts to return
One giant leap for mankind
History was made on July 20, 1969, when Apollo 11's Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin became the first to set foot on the Moon.
For more than 5 decades, the total number of moonwalkers has remained at 12. NASA will change that with Artemis IV.

I got my first Samoyed in 1969. Since then, I showed them to AKC Championships, sledded w/them, backpacked, skijored, herded, bred & rescued them. They are a wonderful breed, but not for everyone. Hope they don't get too popular and into hands of those who shouldn't own them

I can't stop listening to this song. Best thing that came out of the World cup being in the United States this year. 🇺🇸
Watching this compilation of fans from all over the world at the 2026 World Cup in America is so heartwarming.
