1 OCT Leadership and a Napkin #32 - In the journey of leadership, every decision brings us to a fork in the road. Leaders face two primary choices: the high road, characterized by integrity, vision, and ethical standards, or the low road, which often leads to shortcuts, unethical practices, and a lack of accountability.
Choosing the high road is not always the easiest path. It requires courage, perseverance, and a commitment to the greater good. However, it fosters trust, inspires teams, and builds a lasting legacy. In contrast, the low road may offer immediate gains but often results in long-term consequences that can tarnish reputations and diminish relationships.
If you turn your “Prove them wrong” attitude into a “Let’s confirm if they’re right or wrong” mindset…
You’ll get further in life educating yourself and others instead of denying and discrediting others…
Your attitude may be your biggest downfall to cognitive thinking…
