This is so true. Many retired members of parliament have no law that they can remember pushing for or fighting against, and their reasons for doing so. The new guys campaigning to go to Manda Hill have barely any understanding of our laws, or our socio-economic issues to have any proposed legislation that they plan to lobby for and push to have enacted.
On the ground, people are still campaigning using talk of boreholes and "improving the lives of the people in my Constituency."
