they bully the ex member, they bully the current members, they bully the fellow fans, they are so entitled being bullies only until it costed someone's life. May her soul rest in peace
"defending my faves" is NEVER an excuse for harassing, intimidating, or driving someone to their death. Your words have weight. She was human, she had feelings and dreams, but instead you cared more about an idol who doesn't know you. Seriously disgusting and inhuman.
i’m sorry but… an idol going live to address a pattern of behavior from the fandom should never be twisted into them targeting one specific person. he had every right to speak up and confront that behavior. at the end of the day, it was directed at everyone who does it, not one individual. people took a general message and ran with it in the worst way possible.
Normalize logging off instead of joining a hate train. Normalize empathy instead of harassment. Normalize remembering that people are human before they're usernames
if kpop makes you forget about basic human decency, put the phone down, go get some fresh air, reflect, take a deep breath
idols are idols, fans are fans. idols won't go for any fan, being an idol is their job, they get paid. fans are just supporters of MUSIC and artists, if it gets too deep, take a break because bullying, harassing and so on, is really not worth it. it was never this deep.
when will yall understand that this is not a fandom issue, neither kpop fans issue. it’s internet as a whole, you spent time here attacking people, sending dts forgetting you’re doing it to a real person. limits are always crossed and reflecting only happens when it’s too late.
y’all bullied a girl to death over kpop ??? kpop is literally never that fucking serious u people truly need to go outside and touch some grass, maybe breathe in some air while ur at it
all this poor girl did was ask a member to give another one flowers. everyone called her behavior parasocial, but the lengths y’all went through to “defend” your fav wasn’t?
toxic fandom culture normalized cyberbullying so much to the point that sending death threats, harassing, dehumanizing, and bullying her consistently for 5 days despite her apologising across multiple platforms and owning up to her actions wasn’t considered abnormal. it was entertainment to these bullies.
the lack of compassion and empathy this fandom has to see this girl go live and clearly show signs of wanting to take her own life and talking about mental struggles yet all they did was ridicule and encourage her to do it and reduced it to her wanting attention. they’re still bullying her even after her death.
STOP being cruel and inhumane. there are real people behind these accounts. cyberbullying is unfortunately so normalized in the kpop space. whether it’s against fans or idols, it should never be encouraged. think twice before tweeting and please learn that your actions have consequences. you’re responsible and you’ve contributed to her and her family’s pain. be kinder.
Also, idc what side of the fandom you are on, please know that kpop is supposed to be fun. It’s entertainment. It shouldn’t bring out the worst in you. If it gets heavy, step away, talk to friends, heck even reach out to me because sometimes talking to a stranger helps. Also, you don’t have to like everyone or agree with everyone but please don’t abandon your morals. Be kind. Be compassionate.
mfs are always saying "let's educate and not cancel🥹" but when someone is getting educated and takes accountability for their mistakes, people are still not satisfied and push others to extreme actions! because in reality these arent people, these are bullies that dont want someone to take accountability but to bully them and feel superior. disgusting.
the way some of yall are using this situation to point fingers and find who to blame is disturbing. i think this situation should be a reminder for EVERYONE to be kinder to people, whether you agree or disagree with them/their actions. i hope she can rest peacefully.
a lot of u are so comfy hiding behind ur phone screens that u forget there are real life consequences to ur actions. it’s so sickening that ppl never learn.
