@LANFESTgames@GlydrGG It took us some time to get manufacturing worked out, but we’re shipping our versatile foot controller now in time for Christmas! https://t.co/JiYUDIVC2G
@PalmerLuckey Whether the funding? One of the challenges is a lack of funding for hardware. The other is that incumbents have not invested in foot controllers. I managed to bring the Glydr foot controller to market this year with friends and family funding, but it’s like walking a tightrope
@JackSoslow One of our @GlydrGG backers connected that they were initially intrigued by the idea of running around in VR, but once he had his Meta Quest, he realized he’d rather have a way to enjoy immersion with mobility while seated. So now he’s anxiously awaiting his Glydr foot controller
One speaker in today's #RXXR session is Rick Tett, who has invented a foot controller that can be used for 2D (pancake) and VR experiences - for use in gaming, medical, and life in general.

Is gamepad input broken in Meta Quest 2 v40? Gamepad input has worked great in v39. A friend with a Quest 2 with v40 finds that gamepad input is not working with any apps. Can anyone corroborate what I'm seeing so Meta will get it fixed?

With the purchase of our new @raise3d printer, HoboLoco is now able to produce accurate and reliable real-world representations of current designs to support the prototyping process, including complex shapes that require dissolvable supports.

@calebkraft@brycej We’ve been developing a dual foot controller for VR locomotion that also works with PC games and PS. Would love to get it working with Xbox once we get funding for manufacturing them.
@brycej@Limbitless3D@Euridicles I’ll be glad to introduce you to the founder of @TouchlabL . Their e-skin picks up sensory inputs on robot “hands” that are very precise and can even detect slippage. Could probably do the same thing for prosthetic limbs.
HoboLoco was blessed with this awesome UTD CS Capstone team that delivered a configuration app and profiles for 17 PC/PS4 games even though they had to leave campus mid-semester. @hobolocoinc @CapitalFactory @UTDallasArts https://t.co/MxrH3DDH92
