@bus_usa Week 13. I found an article on index numbers relating to the increase of price of gas so far this year. It showed that the prices of gas this year have went to the roof compared to a year prior.

@bus_usa Week 12. I have recently gotten into stocks and getting to understand investment returns and how they work in this chapter has really helped my understanding with money making within stocks. It will definitely help me keep track of my future returns!

@bus_usa Week 11. I have really come to appreciate Qualitative and Quantitative forecasting due to the fact that I will most likely be using it heavily in the future. I have made sure to fully understand how to use these, and hopefully it will help my future career.

@bus_usa Week 10. For this week I found an article on Nike using Qualitative forecasting to predict the sales of NBA star Zion Williamson shoe sales as he comes off an injury. They predict they will skyrocket, and possibly reach sales higher than ever.

@bus_usa For this week, I read about coca cola using a dummy variable to help figure quarterly sales of pop sold throughout the world. It was very interesting and helped them make a regression model that showed they sales are best in summer.

@bus_usa I am doing my current event on hypothesis testing. It was used to see if it was useful in everyday life, it was deemed counterproductive and that confidence intervals should be used instead.

@bus_usa I think the one-way anova test is the most useful in my opinion. I believe the amount of ways it can be used will be very helpful in my career down the line. The current event I found Tested the amount of people used public transportation the most, New York is the answer

@bus_usa My current event is regression analysis on covid-19. It was used to project covid death rates over the upcoming weeks, which in final conclusion was predicted to go up in the United States.

semi parametric mechanistic regression model to figure out the natural history as well as the progression of cancer. It helped see the survival times of different cancers. It was very interesting to see the data.

There's an article using the anova test to compare Nike, Under Armour, and Adidas sales. It was determined that there was a relationship between them, which is very interesting but expected.

Nike used the chi square test to figure out what age groups they should target better, and they figured out young adults purchase the most clothing from the store. This will help them on future advertising decisions.

I find it fascinating how Chi Square is being used to tell the age shift of covid from children to adults. This has helped figure out that covid is growing more rampant in young adults compared to the older generation.

@_Market_Intel I really enjoyed the Bus analytics class, I feel like the life long takeaway of the class for me is just organizational skills. I can see myself using a few techniques due to going into a marketing field.
