@chriswithans @IAPolls2022 Ds have a hard ceiling at 47 unless the Rs really mess up (in Paxton’s case that would mean not exposing Talarico’s series of risibly woke comments). They’ve already consolidated what they have. Very limited room to grow.

@earlyvotedata It’s not a R+7 electorate (past electorates have been R +10-12) and they probably got a really leftward skewed independent sample, too. The trick in Texas polling is nailing that group. Abbott wins by mod single digits. Question is that is enough to drag Paxton across.
