@dotCharamote hope you get the letter with your new ID soon!! this was such a weird period of time for me to not be able to access Helsenorge or Nav or anything π
@Luke_McGeady@no1smoshhater my guy is stalking my comments to dump worthless trash underneath everywhere π₯π₯ go spend your day with people you love instead π
1. Blaming the victim, your brother, for not attempting to make progress with his transphobic dad
2. When you don't allow your dad to see consequences of bigoted behavior, you enable it and absolutely do support him. If you stand with your brother then you don't go to coffee.
Hey Iβll clear this up. :) I use kindness as a social lubricant to advocate for change. I donβt just sit idly by if someone near me were to have differing opinions than myself.
My belief in this actually comes from Martin Luther King Jr he said:
"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do thatβ
Everyone handles everything differently. However, thatβs how I chose to lead my life.
I am not friends with any bigots. I keep a very small circle. I poorly articulated this a year ago and my words have been twisted and taken out of context ever since. Which is my fault for not being more eloquent. It is a bummer based on the life Iβve led but what can ya do
@HonkHonker@qtcinderella 2/2 when the dad doesn't see life meaningfully changing as a result of his behavior, he has no reason to change. brother could be taken out for coffee and be shown support, the dad could be told i would love to when you're ready to sit down and recognize the issue. for example :)
@HonkHonker@qtcinderella 1/2 when she compares herself, being open-minded and loving her dad, with her brother's distancing himself from the dad, and says his behavior leads to no progress, she does actually disagree with the victim's attitude
@newusedshoes@therealmarjo@qtcinderella there is no gotcha. this isnt "what about the time you said this!!!!". im literally referring to the original issue she mentioned in her comment. this video is what she is rearticulating. im stating opinions about what she said. if disagreements are insufferable we'll get nowhere

@therealmarjo@qtcinderella nothing i said was inflammatory nor rude nor vicious i didnt namecall i didnt swear i didnt crash out
how am i being insufferable. i brought up parts of the prior problematic controversy that i did not think she brought up in this second attempt to get her stance across.
@mindmoon__@qtcinderella if a child is being mistreated by their parents they do not owe their parents unconditional love.
if you recognize a sibling being mistreated by your parents then your sibling deserves support and solidarity
these are not complicated ideas
