Unfortunately, my Star Ship Torch no longer works. It was working perfectly when I first received it. After using it a few times, I left it unused for a couple of months on a shelf.
When I recently tried to use it again, it wouldn’t produce a flame. I released the remaining gas and refilled it, but it still doesn’t ignite :(
I’ve reached out to the SpaceX merch team, but I haven't heard anything back yet.
Does anyone reading this have a suggestion on how to resolve this issue?
I do see a spark, but I don’t hear any gas coming out when I press the ignition button. After refilling, I can release gas from the top manually, so it seems gas is entering the tank.

It’s wild how AI tools and chatbots are popping up like mushrooms, each with a hefty monthly subscription—$20 to $50 a pop. As a consumer, I just want to test-drive a few to find the right fit, but that means shelling out for 3-5 subscriptions. It’s starting to feel like the streaming service mess, where every studio has its own platform. With inflation already stretching budgets, this is getting out of hand for the average user. I get it—developers need to make a living, and building AI isn’t cheap. But maybe a more affordable trial model including premium features could help us explore without breaking the bank. Thoughts?
@MattWalshBlog Ah, the prevention paradox. Why do they keep leopards in cages at the zoo? After all, no one’s ever been attacked by a leopard in a zoo!
