Detention first. Evidence later, maybe.

Andrew and Tristan Tate have been in federal detention since July 18 on a foreign accusation the United Kingdom has not yet been required to support with a single piece of evidence. The United Kingdom's deadline is September 16.

Every burden in that courtroom falls on Andrew and Tristan. None of it falls on the government that wants Andrew and Tristan handed over. Two American citizens, on American soil, ordered to prove a negative against a case that does not yet exist on paper.
