Doubling down on this, I’m currently in a predebut stage and just trying to save the funds from working a full time job to get certain things commissioned is a bit hard while staying in top of my essentials.

It can be tough but if you’re passionate about it, make it work and it’ll be rewarding. I work overtime every single week and I’m still having to delay getting certain things commissioned.

This is so true.

I worked 2 jobs before going full-time, and I was a long way from making a comfortable living in my first YEARS.

It takes persistence and creativity, nonstop. You stop, you fall. Barely anyone has good enough connections to just get back up in the indie space, and even more when you are not good at networking.

I got so much bad advice over the years, and the only thing that really matter is to always keep going, reinventing the wheel, trying new things every day.

Never give up, never back down, and never let the bad days get to you. Nobody can do what you can do.
