CPI (M) MP John Brittas is claiming in Parliament that the police officers who arrived were not in uniform.
But the video tells a different story.
The Delhi Police personnel can be clearly seen wearing their uniforms.
The same John Brittas who asked a uniformed Delhi Police officer, “Tumhari himmat kaise hui?” (“How dare you?”) when the police arrived to arrest Aishe Ghosh is now making a claim that is contradicted by the footage.
Decades of electoral rejection, yet the arrogance remains untouched.
Don’t misuse immunity inside the Parliament to lie.
Congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Government of India for taking yet another decisive step to safeguard the future of India’s youth.
The passage of the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026 in the Lok Sabha sends an unequivocal message: paper leak mafias, organised cheating syndicates and those who steal the dreams of deserving students will face swift and severe consequences.
The revised law significantly strengthens the legal framework by providing:
✅ Punishment of 5–10 years’ imprisonment and a fine of up to ₹50 lakh for those using unfair means (up from 3–5 years and ₹10 lakh).
✅ Organised examination crimes to attract 7–10 years’ imprisonment and fines of up to ₹10 crore.
✅ Fines on errant service providers increased to ₹5 crore, with debarment from conducting public examinations extended from 4 years to 8 years.
✅ Special Task Forces empowered to investigate paper leaks and organised exam fraud.
✅ Time-bound investigations within 2 months.
✅ Special Fast Track Courts for day-to-day trials, with trials to be completed within 3 months of filing the chargesheet.
✅ Time-bound disposal of appeals by High Courts, as far as possible, within 3 months.
The country must also note the stark contrast. While Prime Minister Modi was fulfilling the promise he made to India’s youth by strengthening the law against paper leaks and examination fraud, the Congress and AAP chose to indulge in frivolous cacophony and create a ruckus in Parliament.
This is not merely a law, it is a commitment to merit, transparency and justice for every honest student.
The Modi Government has made it clear: the future of India’s youth will not be held hostage by paper leak mafias or organised cheating networks.

With the Rajya Sabha passing the Prevention of Insults to National Honour (Amendment) Bill, 2026, in the Rajya Sabha, India has corrected a historic wrong.
For decades, Vande Mataram inspired countless freedom fighters to lay down their lives for Bharat. Yet, in the run-up to Partition, the Congress chose the path of appeasement. At its 1937 convention, it agreed to restrict the public rendering of Vande Mataram by dropping portions of the song after objections were raised, a decision that eminent historian Jadunath Sarkar lamented as a needless retreat from India’s civilisational self-confidence. He regarded the song as a powerful expression of India’s national awakening and criticised attempts to diminish its place in public life.
Today, that chapter has been decisively reversed.
By extending to Vande Mataram the same statutory protection that the National Anthem already enjoys under the Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, Parliament has reaffirmed that India’s national symbols are not negotiable and cannot be subjected to political expediency. Deliberate insult to the National Song will now attract the same legal consequences as insult to the National Anthem.
From appeasement to affirmation, from compromise to conviction, Bharatvarsh has indeed come a long way.
Vande Mataram is not merely a song, it is the soul of India’s freedom struggle, and today the nation has ensured that it receives the honour it has always deserved.
Priyanka Vadra’s “Gau Mutra expert” jibe at IIT Madras Director V. Kamakoti is not just crude politics. It is the same language of contempt used by the Pulwama suicide bomber.
In his pre-attack propaganda video, Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist Adil Ahmad Dar (Waqas Commando) repeatedly referred to Hindus as “गाय का प���शाब पीने वाले” (“cow urine drinkers”) while justifying the murder of 40 CRPF jawans. That phrase was not random abuse. It was deliberate Islamist hate speech meant to dehumanise an entire community and glorify violence against it.
Seven years later, a sitting Congress Member of Parliament stands in the Lok Sabha and reduces one of India’s finest computer scientists, the man behind the indigenous SHAKTI processor, the Director of IIT Madras, and the former head of the Prime Minister’s AI Task Force, to a “Gau Mutra expert” because he once spoke about traditional knowledge systems and indigenous cattle.
Same slur. Same contempt for Hindu cultural practices. One used it to justify a suicide bombing. The other uses it to score political points in Parliament.
When the language of a Jaish terrorist and the language of a Gandhi family politician starts sounding alike, it is not a coincidence. It is a revealing continuum of disdain.
Yesterday, thousands of students took to the streets in Jharkhand to protest the Hemant Soren government’s repeated failures, including the recurring paper leaks in JSSC and JPSC examinations. The Congress is a partner in this government.
Yet, not a word from Rahul Gandhi or Priyanka Vadra in their speeches. Not a whisper from Arvind Kejriwal or his ecosystem, including Dipke and his gang, who otherwise claim to champion students’ causes.
Their selective outrage exposes the truth.
The Opposition doesn’t care about students or their future. Students are merely political props to be used against the Central Government whenever it suits their agenda. When paper leaks happen in states ruled by their own allies, they fall silent.
If they truly cared about students, they would speak up irrespective of which party was in power. Their silence today is proof that this was never about justice for students, it was always about politics because they know they cannot defeat Prime Minister Modi electorally on the strength of governance and performance.

सच यही है कि विपक्ष को छात्रों के भविष्य या उनके हितों से कोई सरोकार नहीं है। छात्र उनके लिए केवल एक राजनीतिक औज़ार हैं, जिनका इस्तेमाल वे केवल तब करते हैं जब केंद्र सरकार पर हमला करना हो।
जब पेपर लीक उनके सहयोगी दलों या उनके शासन वाले राज्यों में होता है, तो उनकी अंतरात्मा सो जाती है और उनकी आवाज़ गायब हो जाती है।
अगर उन्हें सचमुच छात्रों की चिंता होती, तो वे सत्ता में कौन है, यह देखे बिना हर पेपर लीक के खिलाफ़ आवाज़ उठाते। उनकी यह चुप्पी साबित करती है कि उनका मक़सद छात्रों को न्याय दिलाना नहीं, बल्कि केवल राजनीतिक लाभ उठाना है।
Yet another myth peddled by the Opposition has been punctured by the Government’s reply in Parliament.
The Government has informed the Lok Sabha that it continues to monitor minority students’ enrolment through two nationwide databases, UDISE+ for school education and AISHE for higher education, while implementing targeted scholarship schemes through the Ministry of Minority Affairs.
A few facts that deserve attention:
• School education data under UDISE+ covers all six notified minority communities - Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Parsis and Jains.
• During the last five academic years (2021-22 to 2025-26), enrolment of students belonging to these six minority communities has consistently remained above 6 crore every year, reflecting their continued participation in school education.
• UDISE+ does not maintain religion-wise school enrolment data. It records the six notified minority communities as a single aggregate category.
• Likewise, school dropout rates are maintained only at the aggregate level and are not recorded separately for individual minority communities or religions.
• In higher education, AISHE separately captures enrolment of Muslim students and Other Minority Communities (Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Parsis and Jains together). The latest available data is for the 2023-24 survey year.
• The Government has also clarified that there is no concept of “dropout” in higher education, as students frequently migrate between courses, programmes and institutions.
The Modi Government’s approach has been consistent: Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas. Education and welfare schemes are designed to empower every deserving citizen, including minorities, based on need and opportunity, not on divisive politics or appeasement.
Facts matter. Parliament has spoken. The Opposition’s narrative has once again collapsed.
Time for Ghar Waapsi?
A significant legal position was clarified earlier this year.
The March 2026 judgment reaffirmed that a person who converts to Christianity or any religion other than Hinduism, Sikhism or Buddhism ceases to be eligible for Scheduled Caste status.
At the same time, the Court held that Scheduled Caste status may be restored upon reconversion, but only if all three of the following conditions are satisfied:
• The individual was originally born into a caste recognised as a Scheduled Caste.
• They have genuinely reconverted to Hinduism, Sikhism or Buddhism and have completely renounced the religion they had previously adopted.
• They have been accepted back by members of their original caste community.
The Court made it unequivocally clear that failure to satisfy even one of these conditions would make the claim for restoration of Scheduled Caste status unsustainable.
The judgment has important implications for the long-standing debate on religion, affirmative action and constitutional safeguards, and is likely to remain a significant reference point in discussions on the subject.
Once again, sections of the media are selectively reporting the Chief Justice’s remarks, highlighting only what suits a particular narrative.
No one disputes the right to peaceful protest. In fact, that right is fundamental in a democracy.
But the operative part of the Chief Justice’s observation is equally important: “If there are some anti-social elements, etc., that can be taken care of.”
That is precisely the responsibility of law enforcement agencies. They are duty-bound to distinguish between peaceful protesters and those who exploit protests to indulge in violence, vandalism or other unlawful acts.
Maintaining law and order is not an attack on democracy; it is essential to preserving it. The right to protest cannot become a licence for anarchy, and enforcing the law against anti-social elements should not be portrayed as suppressing legitimate dissent.
- Shri Dharmendra Pradhan took moral responsibility and resigned from his position.
- Fast-track courts have been established to ensure swift justice.
- A high-powered task force has been constituted to eradicate paper leaks through systemic and technological reforms.
When every demand has been accepted and every genuine concern has been addressed with concrete measures, the continued disruption of Parliament makes one thing clear: the Opposition was never interested in solutions.
The Opposition is interested neither in democratic debate nor in the future of India’s youth. Its sole objective is to evade discussion in Parliament, create disruption, and waste taxpayers’ money by paralysing the functioning of the country’s highest democratic institution.
Arvind Kejriwal claims he has spoken to automobile manufacturers and that they believe E20 blending is “not desirable.”
The automobile industry itself says exactly the opposite.
Here are the facts, straight from the CEOs and senior executives who publicly addressed the media:
• Toyota Kirloskar Motor’s Country Head & Executive Vice President, Vikram Gulati: E20 was introduced only after rigorous testing, including on older vehicles. He described ethanol as a high-performance, clean fuel that has been used globally for decades, including in motorsport.
• Maruti Suzuki’s Senior Executive Officer, Rahul Bharti: Out of 2.84 crore vehicles serviced in FY 2025–26, over 1.5 crore were older, non-E20-certified vehicles. Maruti found no evidence of corrosion, abnormal wear and tear, or reduced component life attributable to E20.
• Hero MotoCorp’s Chief Business Officer, Ashutosh Varma: Analysis of the company’s extensive service data found no higher incidence of vehicle damage in two-wheelers running on E20 compared to earlier fuels.
• Hyundai Motor India, TVS Motor Company and Bajaj Auto also participated in the same press conference, collectively reaffirming the industry’s confidence in the E20 programme.
The Government did not impose E20 overnight. The transition followed years of consultation with SIAM, ARAI, automobile manufacturers, oil companies and testing agencies, with engine calibration, fuel systems, emissions, durability and material compatibility all evaluated before nationwide rollout.
Facts matter.
When the country’s leading automobile manufacturers publicly state that E20 is safe after extensive testing and crores of real-world service records, anonymous conversations and political sound bites cannot outweigh engineering evidence.
India’s ethanol programme is backed by science, industry validation and years of testing, not misinformation.

✅ टोयोटा किर्लोस्कर मोटर के कंट्री हेड एवं एग्जीक्यूटिव वाइस प्रेसिडेंट विक्रम गुलाटी ने कहा कि E20 को लागू करने से पहले व्यापक परीक्षण किए गए। उन्होंने इसे स्वच्छ, उच्च-प्रदर्शन वाला ईंधन ��ताया, जिसका दुनिया के कई देशों में दशकों से सफलतापूर्वक उपयोग हो रहा है।
✅ हीरो मोटोकॉर्प के मुख्य व्यवसाय अधिकारी आशुतोष वर्मा ने कहा कि कंपनी के लाखों दोपहिया ��ाहनों के सर्विस डेटा में E20 के कारण किसी अतिरिक्त इंजन या वाहन क्षति का कोई प्रमाण नहीं मिला।
यही नहीं, हुंडई, बजाज ऑटो और TVS सहित अन्य प्रमुख वाहन निर्माताओं ने भी सार्वजनिक रूप से E20 कार्यक्रम पर अपना भरोसा व्यक्त किया।
सच्चाई यह है कि E20 किसी राजनीतिक निर्णय का परिणाम नहीं, बल्कि SIAM, ARAI, ऑटोमोबाइल कंपनियों, ऑयल मार्केटिंग कंपनियों और वैज्ञानिक संस्थानों के वर्षों के परीक्षण, अनुसंधान और परा���र्श के बाद लागू किया गया है।
अरविंद केजरीवाल को तय करना चाहिए कि देश ऑटोमोबाइल उद्योग के शीर्ष इंजीनियरों, वैज्ञानिकों और CEOs पर भरोसा करे या उनके कथित “निजी संवादों” पर।

Every time the people reject him at the ballot box, he refuses to introspect. Instead, he questions the wisdom of the very citizens whose votes he seeks.
This arrogance is precisely why the Congress continues to lose election after election.
In a democracy, if voters don’t choose you, the answer is to earn their trust, not insult their intelligence.
Tihar returnee Arvind Kejriwal should stop lying and ensure that the Education Minister of Punjab is sacked and Sonam Wangchuk is appointed instead. Otherwise, AAP will be routed in Punjab, just as it was decimated in Delhi.

The central accusation in Sonia Gandhi's article is that the Modi government has deliberately evaded accountability. The record suggests the opposite. When the NEET examination was compromised, the government did not defend a tainted process. It cancelled the examination, conducted one of the largest re-exams in India's history for over 22 lakh candidates.

A programme celebrated globally as a major success for environmental sustainability, energy security, and reducing oil imports is now being targeted because powerful interests would rather India remain dependent on imported crude.
A coordinated toolkit has suddenly decided that “all cars are breaking down” because of ethanol-blended fuel. The facts tell a different story. Nearly 20 crore two-wheelers and 3 crore cars have been running on E20 fuel for over 2.5 years without any widespread issues.
As India moves towards E25, E27 and E85 through flex-fuel options, those with vested interests have every reason to worry. According to the International Energy Agency, India accounts for around 30% of annual global oil demand growth. Reducing that dependence affects powerful oil-exporting interests. At the same time, expanding ethanol also changes the economics of alternative energy pathways, giving rise to competing commercial narratives.
Suddenly, a campaign has emerged claiming that ethanol is harmful. But ask yourself: has your vehicle, or that of anyone you know, broken down because of E20 fuel?
Vehicle manufacturers, insurance companies, oil marketing companies, and technical experts have repeatedly explained that ethanol-blended fuel is scientifically tested, safe when used as specified, and has been successfully used in several countries for decades.
Don’t fall for manufactured fear. Think critically, verify the facts, and don’t let propaganda override evidence.
For the past few days, we have been witnessing a deeply disturbing trend being actively promoted by revolutionary radicals: children being encouraged to turn against their own parents. Dozens of such videos have been amplified by high-visibility social media handles. This is not new. It is a familiar tactic from the totalitarian playbook.
History offers chilling parallels.
During China’s Cultural Revolution, Mao’s Red Guards were encouraged to denounce their own parents and family members as enemies of the revolution.
Under Stalin’s Soviet Union, a culture of denunciation led children to report their parents as “kulaks” or political dissidents. Many were deported to labour camps in Siberia and Kazakhstan, while countless others were executed.
In Nazi Germany, members of the Hitler Youth and the League of German Girls were indoctrinated to inform on their parents for acts as ordinary as listening to foreign radio broadcasts.
In Pol Pot’s Cambodia, the Khmer Rouge established a child spy network known as Chhlop to monitor parents and elders. Thousands who were reported were executed. Children who wept for their murdered parents were shamed, while separating children from their families became a deliberate instrument of state control.
There is a reason totalitarian movements repeatedly target children. Their identities, loyalties and worldview are still forming, making them easier to indoctrinate than adults. As political theorist Hannah Arendt observed, totalitarian ideologies seek to destroy every independent bond between individuals, including the family, so that a person’s only loyalty is to the ideology and the state.
Whenever political movements celebrate children being pitted against their parents, it should not be romanticised as “awakening” or “progress.” History teaches us that it is one of the earliest warning signs of ideological extremism.

Serious questions are now being raised over Abhishek Banerjee’s conduct.
• Abhishek Banerjee approached the High Court seeking permission to travel abroad for eye treatment.
• The High Court declined the request and directed him to seek treatment at a local hospital instead.
• Now, the Medical Council has alleged that the medical certificate submitted by Abhishek Banerjee before the High Court was fake.
If these allegations are true, submitting a forged medical certificate before a constitutional court is not just unethical, it strikes at the very foundation of the justice system.
The truth must come out, and accountability must follow.
