Another thing that's funny, from my ruby red state, where every county voted for Trump in 2016, I haven't seen a single friend from the right (most of my friends are R) post about the debate. Is there really any question who won?
Plus, Trump wouldn't condemn white supremacists. Told them to "stand by." What the heck is that supposed to mean? Dog whistle on the national stage. I hope our country recovers from the divisions he provoked.
@petersagal "Tried" and failed, so how is that a good job? You can get any random centrist off the street who can ask good questions of both candidates. Moderation is more about ensuring the debate has good discussion and dialogue. The moderator didn't do that.
What a terrible "debate." Wallace wouldn't mute Trump even though he admitted that they "agreed" to give each other uninterrupted time. If the moderator can't accommodate that, is he just enabling the bully?
In this Sunday's Gospel (Mt 10:26-33) Jesus invites us not to be afraid, to be strong and confident in the face of life's challenges, because even when we encounter setbacks, our lives rest firmly in God’s hands, who loves us and takes care of us.
