New paper! We compare the convergence properties of Taylor vs T'-expansion, when expanding the EoS of several models to finite density. With my student @kahangirw, my colleague @vlvovch, @NuSteam colleague Jorge Muñoz and @NuSteam undergrad Irene Gonzalez https://t.co/77PBtkhLAs
Our summer program started this week! Dr. Ratti gave a broad introduction to the standard model and the strong force. It is a pleasure to welcome our new cohort of students! And today we finish the week with pizza!
Check out this video by @TAMUPhysAstr! Many @NuSteam PIs and students are featured and talk about their experience being physicists!

Many NuSTEAMers were featured at the #APSDNP2023 today, during Larry May's talk about the MyPhysStory movie presentation. Here PIs Claudia Ratti and Rene Bellwied, and trainees Victoria Delgado and Jeseleth Benavides.
We are excited to welcome the new cohort of @NuSteam and @nu_pumas Students to @UHPhysics today! This morning we started talking about the standard model and elementary particles. Hands-on computing session will follow this afternoon.
We had a great time at @FRIBLab, talking about @NuSteam and meeting other PIs and students! My favorite was the Q&A session with the students, in which we talked about neutron stars, the QCD phase diagram, what made me choose Nuclear Physics and how to approach future PhD mentors
Physicists from our Department are working on the @ALICEexperiment and were heavily involved in these upgrades! Reach out to Drs. Bellwied, Pinsky and Timmins to learn more! #PhysicsFriday.
It was our pleasure to welcome Dr. Paul Gueye from @FRIBLab today at @UHPhysics! He came to hear about our @NuSteam program and gave great advice to us and our students. We look forward to continuing our activities and helping each other to find the best way to support minorities
We had such a great time at the joint @tsaapt and Texas @APSphysics meeting at @tamuc with our @NuSteam Students! One my mentees, Alejandro Florez, won the best undergraduate presentation award! Thanks @newtronandon for the impeccable organization!
Our NuSTEAM students are giving presentations this week at the Texas @APSphysics and @tsaapt joint meeting and also enjoying some activities at @tamuc.
After the conference banquet, we visited the @tamuc planetarium and watched a presentation on the Commerce night sky and a show on Black Holes. And also a little rollercoaster simulation that was too close to reality 😵💫
Driving to the Texas APS spring meeting in a car full of @NuSteam students! After 2 semester of undergraduate research, it is time for them to present their results. We are going to have a blast!
